NOTE: The intent is for the ice to be prepared to start curling the last week of October. Individuals in the Masters and Open leagues can plan to start curling the week of October 28 if everything goes according to plan. Interested in helping install the ice? Leagues run until the end of March with a two week Christmas break (Dec 23 - Jan 3).

Open Mixed (Adult) League​ - Evenings

Teams in the evening league includes players a minimum of 18 yrs old and includes mixed-gender teams or all male, all female, etc. The evening league operates Monday - Thursday (max 10 teams per night)  and games begin at 6:45pm. The club/bar opens at 6:15 and stays open till 10/10:30 pm.

This league is inclusive of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. It is expected that advanced or 'experienced' teams will be patient and kind to new teams who are learning not only how to play the game but other basics such as etiquette and scoring. In hockey speak... this is a beer league. Folks come out to have a good time, do a bit of curling and socialize.

Advanced Mixed (Adult) League - Evenings

Fernie Curling Club is responding to local demand and offering a competitive/advanced league for the 2024/2025 season. Teams in the evening league includes players a minimum of 18 yrs old and includes mixed-gender teams or all male, all female, etc. The league will operate on Sunday evening s with a draw time of 6:45pm. The club/bar will open at 6:15pm and stay open till 10/10:30pm.

This league is for players with advanced knowledge of the game, both skill and etiquette. The goal of this league is to provide a space for competitive curling for advanced players. If you are uncertain if your team should enter this league, please email ferniecurling@gmail.com and we can help .

Registration is $850/team. A team is max 6 players. Max registration is 10 teams, minimum is 6. Registration is open Sept 8 till October 18.
