​​​​Junior Curling
Fall Session - Skill Development for Junior Curlers
Monday's 3:30-4:30pm
Nov. 17, 24, Dec. 1, 8, 15
Price: $60
Age's: 10-17
Maximum of 16 participants. Helmets mandatory for those under 12.
Brooms and Sliders provided by the club if needed.
Junior curlers will be organized into groups based on age and ability. Focus is on learning basic skills such as sliding and sweeping, with a mix of drills, mini games and full ends to put skills into practice.
Register by sending an email to ferniecurling.com with the child’s name and age.
Senior Curling
The Senior League is for curlers over 60 years of age by Dec 31 of the year in which the season begins.
There is a cap of 42 registered curlers for the season.
League play is Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 1- 3pm. Teams are randomly picked every session from the individuals in attendance.

Registration will take part in 3 phases:
Phase 1 - registered members from the 2024-25 season who are BC residents permanently
residing in the Elk Valley.
Phase 2 - BC residents permanently residing in the Elk Valley.
Phase 3 - people who do not reside in the Elk Valley.
Phase 1 people will be able to register first and will be given time to register before Phase 2 people can start registering. Phase 1 people will only be given priority until registration opens for Phase 2 and Phase 2 people will only be given priority until registration opens for Phase 3 people.
Phase 3 people will be eligible to register at a later date. Phase 2 and 3 registrations will occur on a first come first serve basis. Registration will close once 42 people have registered.
Registration for Phase 1 starts immediately, Phase 2 at 8am on Wednesday, October 1 and Phase 3 at 8am on Friday, Oct 3. To register email Jane at pj.sp@shaw.ca with your name, phone number and email address. You will receive an email advising you of your registration status and payment details. Cost is $200/person for the season.
Drop-In: If a non-member is interested in attending, show up at the club by 12:45pm and if the 32 available spots aren’t claimed by registered members the drop-in(s) will get to play. Drop-ins will be able to play based on their order of arrival. Drop-in fees are $10/session (cash only).
